On the day of the booking, one of the cleaners did not attend due to an internal issue, which meant the full service I had booked could not be completed. While I understand that emergencies happen, this was entirely outside of my control. Initially, I was offered a refund if I chose to cancel, which I appreciated. However, this offer was later withdrawn after I allowed the cleaner who did attend to stay and complete part of the job. The service provided was not what was originally agreed, yet a refund was refused. This felt inconsistent and unfair, especially as the situation was caused by their own staffing issue. Although they waived a small remaining charge, this does not change the fact that the agreed service was not delivered in full and the initial refund offer was not honoured.
