The Ovencleaners

The Ovencleaners is an independent family-run cleaning company based in Plymouth, trading since 2005. Paul Harvey owns the business and has cleaned ovens in Plymouth since 2005. The company specialises in domestic ovens, hobs, cookers and ranges, and serves Plymouth, Tavistock, Saltash, Ivybridge and surrounding villages. It cleans all oven types, including Aga, Rayburn, range cookers, Bosch, Stoves, AEG, Smeg and Rangemaster, as well as all models of extractor hoods, BBQs and gas and electric hobs, and is a NEFF Hide & Slide specialist.

The company uses a dip-tank cleaning method with non-toxic, environmentally friendly products. It holds public liability insurance and is DBS checked, and its staff are professionally trained as oven cleaners. The Ovencleaners has been trusted by more than 1,324 clients. It only cleans domestic ovens, hobs and extractor fans.

Domestic oven and hob cleaning projects in Plymouth are met with consistently warm accounts, and Paul is named again and again for his courteous, capable approach. Punctuality is a recurring theme: customers note that he turns up at the agreed time, which several describe as a sign of how the job is run. He explains what he will do before beginning and sets up a professional arrangement that keeps the kitchen free of mess, a detail that more than one review highlights. The finish itself draws the strongest praise, with cookers that had gone a year or more without attention, including badly soiled appliances in recently bought flats, coming back to a like-new condition.

Reviewers value that Paul lets surfaces dry and warm through before completing, so the result meets expectations. Communication when arranging visits is described as polite and well organised, and the price is felt to represent good value for the standard achieved. Jobs are completed briskly, with one taking roughly ninety minutes. Repeat bookings are common, and customers remark that slots fill up early before Christmas. The lasting impression is of a thorough clean delivered by someone who clearly knows the work.
