Me and my husband booked this cleaning service based on the fantastic reviews and expected a high standard. We had just bought a new house and, after decorating throughout, the property was completely empty—no carpets, no furniture—so it should have been a straightforward job. Unfortunately, we ended up having to call Collette back after the initial clean, as the oven was still full of grease and cobwebs remained in the wardrobes. Collette did return and spent more time cleaning, and the oven was done very well on her second visit—that’s the one part that was completed to a good standard. However, we were charged £120, which feels extremely excessive given how much was left undone. After moving in today, I wiped the inside of the fitted wardrobes and was shocked at how much dirt was still on the shelves (photo attached). The kitchen shelves were also still filthy and needed a full re-clean. The bathroom was already new and clean before they arrived, so very little work was required there. I wasn’t going to write this review, but after having to re-clean so much myself, I feel it’s only fair to share my experience. £120 for a furniture-less house and so many areas left untouched is very disappointing.
