City Carpet Cleaning Brighton and Hove

City Carpet Cleaning is a family-run business that has been operating since 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in the industry. It serves both residential and commercial clients in Brighton and Sussex. The team is fully insured, uses child and pet safe cleaning solutions, and offers a satisfaction guarantee and emergency call-outs. It has experience providing commercial carpet cleaning services to Brighton University offices, letting agencies, hotels, pubs, and restaurants.

Its regular business customers include Michael Trower Property Management, Newhaven Enterprise Centre, Myriad Editions Publishing, The Grand Hotel, The Hotel Pelirocco, The Lion and Lobster Pub and numerous private landlords with multiple properties. It uses the Prochem Steempro Powermax machine. The cleaning process starts with a thorough vacuuming of the carpet to remove any loose dirt and debris, followed by a pre-clean chemical to loosen dirt and grease.

It uses a hot water extraction process and extracts dirty solution with a double vacuum motor. It offers spot cleaning services to remove stubborn stains or marks. It uses upholstery attachments and specialist detergents for rugs, chairs, sofas, and mattresses. The cleaning process generally dries in two to four hours. It has full public liability insurance and carries out all necessary risk assessments. Its main services include carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, mattress cleaning, rug cleaning, and commercial office cleaning.

Households across Brighton, from family homes to sheltered housing flats, feature repeatedly in accounts of work carried out by City Carpet Cleaning Brighton and Hove. A handful of customers describe a two-bedroom flat whose carpets were refreshed until they resembled new, alongside dining chairs and kitchen seating that came up equally well. Upholstery cleaning is a recurring theme, with sofas, mattresses and chairs often added to carpet bookings at short notice and handled without fuss.

Reviews time and again mention Mike by name, praising his punctuality and the care he takes with furniture and property, including one job where heavy equipment was carried to a third-floor flat and the communal area outside was cleaned as well. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the clarity of the quote, which is described as reasonable and sometimes lower than expected for multiple rooms, landings and staircases.

Communication before and after the work is another common thread, with appointments confirmed in advance and aftercare explained once the job was finished. The removal of a red wine stain and the restoration of well-used carpets are typical results, with tidy working and a professional manner noted throughout. Upholstery and carpet cleaning together remain the services customers return for.
