Scrub & Shine South West Exterior Cleaning & Building maintenance

Scrub & Shine South West Exterior Cleaning & Building maintenance was founded by Steven Williams, who has a background in the building trade. The company has over nine years of experience and has completed more than 1,500 jobs. It is fully insured with £5 million public liability cover. The service area includes Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall.

It specialises in residential and commercial exterior cleaning. Services include pressure washing, roof cleaning, gutter maintenance, softwashing, and cladding cleaning. Low-pressure softwashing is used where pressure would damage the surface. Free, no-obligation quotes are provided, and a satisfaction guarantee is offered.

Exterior cleaning work carried out by Steven and his team is repeatedly described as thorough and professional, with reviewers noting that surfaces are left looking renewed. Roofs covered in thick moss, stained render, dishevelled gutters and fascia boards are among the jobs mentioned, along with pressure washing of patios, yards, walls and downpipes. Various customers describe the operatives as hard working and careful at every stage, including the clean-up afterwards, and one mentions before-and-after photographs being provided.

A detail many reviews return to is the ease of communication from the initial quote through to completion, with quick responses and jobs sometimes taken on at short notice. The team, which includes Sonny alongside Steven, is described as friendly, polite and well equipped, and customers note that no task seems too much trouble. Properties in the Plymouth area, including those on north-facing elevations that had not been cleaned for many years, are mentioned in the feedback. The company handles graffiti removal and gutter clearing as well as wider building maintenance, and its advertised hours cover every day of the week, including evenings and weekends.
