Ovenu Reading - Oven Cleaning Specialists

Ovenu was established in 1994 as a one-man band by owner Rik Hellewell, and was incorporated in 1999. Its first branch was in Wokingham, Berkshire. The company has been offering cleaning services for well over 25 years and has helped over 200 franchisees. It has expanded abroad with franchisees in Australia, New Zealand, and a derivative in America. Ovenu serves over 100,000 satisfied customers every year and has been featured in national publications such as The Express, The Daily Mail, and Real Homes.

Gareth Turner is the local Reading oven cleaner and has been cleaning ovens since 2002. He has been fully trained by Ovenu to dismantle, clean, and reassemble ovens. Ovenu uses exclusive eco-friendly cleaning products and systems, and its technicians are fully insured, fully trained to an ISO standard, and subject to background checks and vetting procedures. It uses proprietary non-caustic and biodegradable products and a bespoke stainless-steel dipping tank for soaking elements.

The service area includes locations from Plymouth to Stonehaven. Ovenu Reading serves areas including Woodley, Spencers Wood, Burghfield, Whitley, Shinfield, Earley, Aldermaston, Bradfield, Burghfield Common, Riseley, Silchester, Mortimer, Swallowfield, and Theale, and covers postcodes RG2, RG5, and RG6. Ovenu offers services to landlords and tenants. Its main services include cleaning conventional ovens, AGA, Lacanche and other range cookers, extractor hoods, hobs, and microwave ovens.

Repeat custom and long-standing loyalty define the work described for this Reading oven cleaning specialist, with Gareth and Nathan named repeatedly by those who book them. Ovens, hobs and extractor hoods are returned to a gleaming condition, and the clarity of door glass is a detail that comes up often, along with interiors that look as good as new. Customers booking for the first time after years with a different provider describe results that surpass what they had previously received, while others have retained the same operative across many years of visits.

Punctual arrival, polite and tidy working methods, and a willingness to spend time over the job rather than rush it are recurring points. Single ovens and gas hobs are typical projects, and several people mention being fitted in at short notice following a cancellation. The company also assists those who have just moved into a property and find the oven in a poor state. Appointments are offered every day of the week, with booking lines operating around the clock, and the service covers Reading and the surrounding area from its base in the town.
