Neil has built a reputation in Sheffield for transforming ovens, range cookers, hobs and cooker hoods that customers believed were beyond saving. Several reviewers describe appliances emerging as clean as new, including units left in a poor state by tenants, and one account notes a pair of ovens requiring nearly three hours of sustained work. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is reliability: he arrives at the agreed time, sometimes ahead of schedule, even in snowy conditions, and communicates responsively when bookings are arranged.

Tidiness is mentioned repeatedly, with floors and surrounding surfaces left clear once the job is finished. Customers describe the pricing as fair and reasonable for the standard reached, and the non-toxic cleaning product used on one occasion was specifically welcomed. His manner is consistently called friendly, professional and down to earth, with one long-standing customer stating that no alternative would be considered while living in the area. Landlords and domestic households alike report the same thorough approach, and repeat bookings are a common outcome, with one reviewer noting that the oven now looks better than it did when purchased new.
