Cleaning Doctor, Carpet & Upholstery Services, Glasgow South & East Renfrewshire: Gareth Doonan is the name that recurs throughout accounts of the work, and the praise centres on the results he achieves on carpets, rugs, curtains and upholstery. Various customers describe carpets and sofas that looked tired or stained being brought back to a fresh, almost new condition, with one noting that oil marks left by a recliner lifted completely after a pre-treatment. Punctuality and reliability come up repeatedly, along with a friendly and efficient manner, and reviewers often mention that appointments are fitted in at short notice when circumstances demand it, such as work completed between tenancies.

Small details receive attention too, including marks around curtain rings, and customers value the advice on maintaining rugs afterwards. Methods are chosen to suit the item, with different products and equipment used depending on the fabric, and leather sofas are among the pieces cleaned. The service is described as professional and transparent, with an estimate given after the carpet has been inspected. Results on wool rugs and curtains are singled out for their brightness, and repeat bookings are common among those who have used the service once.
